Brixham College was subject to a Section 5 inspection on 30th April and 1st May 2014.
Ofsted judged the College to be ‘Good’ in all areas. Inspectors recognised that “The quality of teaching is good and improving” and “Teachers’ enthusiasm and strong subject knowledge inspire students to engage fully in lessons.” Ofsted's report also states, “Relationships between staff and students are very positive,” and “Students’ behaviour is good. Students are polite and courteous and conduct themselves well in and out of lessons.”
Inspectors were equally impressed with the College’s Sixth Form and graded it ‘Good’ judging that “Students are taught well and make good progress”.
