Brixham College provides its own ‘In-House’ catering service, consisting of seven staff. The Catering Manager is Mrs Sally Hughes.
The College has excellent dining facilities with a large hall and an outside canteen shop, with an undercover seating area. Students can purchase food at particular times during the day:
The canteen has been awarded with the highest 5 star food hygiene rating.
The canteen operates a cashless system. Each student is given a card on arrival at the College. Money can be put onto the card by using ParentPay or by topping up using the top up machines situated outside the Cash Office and in the main hall.
Food purchased from the canteen is reasonably priced and we currently charge £2.15 for a College 2 course lunch. This is reviewed annually.
The menu operates on a termly basis.
Drinking water is freely available around the College from water dispensers.
There are vending machines in the main hall. To purchase food from the vending machines cash needs to be used.
At the end of the College day a tuck shop is available from the outside catering provision. Confectionary can be purchased, but only after 3.00pm. Both cashless and cash can be used to purchase items.
