Brixham Academy Joins the Thinking Schools Academy Trust

We look forward to this new chapter at Brixham College

Over the last 12 months Brixham College has been working alongside Thinking Schools Academy Trust on our journey to join the Trust this September 2022. We are excited to finally be welcomed to the trust, and look forward to working alongside our other schools across the South of the country.

Joining the Trust is a natural progression for the College who will work alongside the to share knowledge, resources and best practice with other academies through our Trust’s collaborative networks.

Our Principal, Mr Eager, said: 

“We are delighted to embark on the next phase of Brixham College’s journey by becoming part of the Thinking Schools Academy Trust. This will support a greater capacity for providing quality first education for our students and will also provide some exciting opportunities for collaboration with other schools both locally and further afield. This larger learning community will provide further opportunities for us to inspire success in all that we do”.

This is an exciting time for our Brixham, and wider Torbay, community, as Furzeham Primary and Nursery has joined Brixham College in their conversion to the Thinking Schools Academy Trust to provide children with an all-through school education experience.
